Safety and glass
Glass is heavy, brittle and sharp. That is why safety always has our attention. Especially when installing or replacing windows on the first or second floor. We take into account any safety measures during installation when drawing up the quotation. For example, the use of scaffolding, facade knight or glass lift (an assembly lift with suction installation). In most cases, installing glass using a ladder is not safe.
VCA, BHV and NEN 3569
As a specialist in glass and glass applications, it is our responsibility to comply with safety standards. Our employees are in possession of a VCA certificate (Safety, Health and Environment Checklist for Contractors) and a BHV diploma (Business Assistance). Furthermore, we follow the NEN 3569 standard. This means: we install safety glass if the distance between the floor and the bottom of the glass is less than 85 cm, and furthermore on all balustrades, skylights, skylights and roof glazing (for example in conservatories).
